So what if you drank a 6 pack of beer? You’re not perfect! Just because you missed a few workouts or ate off your diet plan doesn’t mean you throw in the towel. Shake It Up

If you’ve been following the same workout routine and diet for longer than a couple months, you’re probably noticing that you’ve plateaued. Here’s why: your body has adapted and no longer responds to your routine. It’s time to shake it up! Get with a personal trainer or try new fitness classes at your gym. If you’re not a member of a gym, you’re going to have to do some research to get yourself a new workout plan.   If you normally walk 5 miles, start jogging instead. If you usually only lift 5lbs, upgrade to 10! Diet wise, you can add more variety. It’ll take some getting used to, but if you want to take your body to the next level, you’re going to have to try new things. I promise you WILL see results! Be patient with yourself and your journey. 🙂

Press On

I think the bigger my dreams are, the more obstacles are thrown at me! I even shed a few tears today, until I realized that this is not the end. Why fall apart when I can pick myself up and move on? I’m not dead, not even close to that, so why act like it’s over? Oh my! Am I becoming an optimist? I think so! 😉

Count Your Blessings

My decision to change careers from retail to fitness has brought a lot of ups and a butt load of downs, but it’s taught me to count my blessings. And when life hands me a big ole bowl of sucktacular troubles, I count them AGAIN. No, life isn’t fair. Who told you it was going to be? No one. You can’t control everything terrible that happens to you, but you can rise above it. Much love folks

Save Yourself

All the motivational posts and speeches in the world can’t force you to get up and train. It comes from within! Help from others is great, but in the end, only you can save yourself.
